Welcome to Charted Territory: Statistically Funny, platform where healthcare data, medical records, compliance, and health tech collide with humor, storytelling, and just enough real-world insight to keep things legally compliant and emotionally stable.
We break down complex HIM topics, electronic health records, HIPAA regulations, coding, data analytics, and AI, without putting you into a medically induced nap (results may vary, especially after lunch).
Whether you're an HIM professional, healthcare student, informatics enthusiast, or someone who understands that a missing checkbox can somehow trigger a three-hour meeting, this platform is for you. And yes, someone will eventually say, “That’s not what the data says,” and it will absolutely derail everything.
We empower people and brands.

I’m Dr. Gambhir, Professor, Program Director, Healthcare Consultant, and Principle legal expert. My specialty is taking complex, acronym filled healthcare topics and turning them into conversations that actually make sense… and occasionally keep you awake. Yes, even healthcare compliance. Someone had to make regulations interesting, and I volunteered.
With a background in educational leadership, health information management, law, and compliance, I live at the intersection of Academia and Industry where big ideas go to collaborate, deadlines reproduce rapidly, and there’s always one more “quick question” that quietly becomes a project.
I lead academic programs, advise organizations, and work with healthcare leaders on compliance, operations, and strategy. I’ve also attended enough meetings to know which ones could have been emails.
My work focuses on helping organizations solve problems, improve processes, and interpret regulations that often feel like they were written specifically to discourage joy. I’ve made it a personal mission to prove that audits, compliance, and revenue cycle management can be engaging topics. It’s a niche skill set, but every field needs someone who gets unreasonably excited about policy updates. Some people climb mountains or run marathons I explain regulations for fun, which is arguably its own extreme sport. On this platform, I bring a mix of expertise, curiosity, and humor as we explore leadership, healthcare, education, business, and the very human stories behind policies, processes, and spreadsheets. Sometimes the best strategy isn’t a framework or a flowchart it’s figuring it out together, laughing a little, and hoping the agenda doesn’t change mid-sentence.

I’ve spent more than a decade teaching online, which means I’ve witnessed the evolution of technology, learning platforms, and at least seventeen different passwords I was absolutely sure I’d remember.
Teaching isn’t just my profession, it’s something I genuinely love. I enjoy helping students connect the dots, build confidence, and discover that they’re capable of much more than they initially think. There’s nothing quite like watching someone go from “I have no idea what I’m doing” to “I can explain this to someone else.” That’s the good stuff.
Over the years, I’ve worked in education, healthcare, and technology related fields, collecting enough certifications, credentials, and acronyms to make my email signature look slightly intimidating. The truth is, I’m just passionate about lifelong learning and helping others succeed.
I enjoy collaborating with colleagues, mentoring students, and creating learning environments where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and nobody has to apologize before asking for help. (For the record, there really is no such thing as a silly question although there are occasionally some very creative ones.)
When I’m not working, I try to stay active, spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy getting outdoors, tackling new challenges, and pretending I have a healthy work-life balance while answering "just one quick email."
I bring a mix of experience, curiosity, and a healthy appreciation for the fact that none of us have everything figured out. Expect practical insights, real conversations, a few laughs, and occasional reminders that learning is a lifelong process, even for the people doing the teaching.
